  I love Calvary! They preach the truth in love, they love well, they do some of the greatest outreaches in Decatur, they disciple, they believe the whole Word of God, they give, they serve, they pray. The pastoral staff is the best I've ever been around. The list never ends. Calvary is one of the best churches on the planet!

  To the person who wrote the bad review named b. will... Boy you must be full of the devil to say what you said- about Calvary Assembly of GOD! Pastor Sawyer is an awesome man of GOD.. In the past 30 or more years Pastor Sawyer has brought this church from a store front building to what it is today.. Calvary loves people and accepts you into the church with open arms. Pastor Sawyer brings an awesome message across every time he preaches. I would not be where I am with my walk with ALMIGHTY GOD if it was not for Pastor Sawyers preaching. I got saved 26 years ago and thru Pastor Sawyers and you don't see me turning back to live for the devil!!! AMEN! God bless you Pastor Sawyer and Phyllis and everyone who attends Calvary Assembly. :) If you go to Calvary Assembly and don't get your feel of the LOVE OF GOD its not Pastor Sawyer or the Churches fought! You might better check your walk with JESUS! I live in Tampa, Fl now and wish we had more fired up churches down her like Calvary Assembly. :)

  This is the place God brought me. Through the many years God has used this Pastor and the people to encourage me to come out of some very dark situations in my life and placed me in a more joyful life. Every Sunday (and Wednesday nights are AWESOME) Pastor Sawyer always has an exceptional teaching which continues to encourage, empower and strengthen me to truly live life at the highest level through my personal relationship with Jesus. ❤️
